Pricing

TERMS: Payment is due on completion but not less than weekly, or on completion of a given phase.

Late fee is 5% of balance accrued monthly. Lean after 60 days. (Luckily neither of these has been necessary since I started my business.)

PRICING: Small jobs are priced at $75/hr per person with a $100 minimum. We can also provide a fixed fee for most jobs. Some jobs are too adhoc or not deterministic enough to quote fixed price.

DECKS $2500 down; Balance of %50 of project total following placement of special orders or on delivery of materials 10% of project on completion of foundation holes; 20% on completion of framing; 20% on final. I price decks by daily work effort and a careful analysis of material cost with a small margin for misc items and changes. I don’t price by the square foot. Selected materials, the shape, the height, ground slope, and demensions of your deck are bigger drivers than Sq Ft.

My goal is to price decks in the middle of pack while providing top quality craftsmanship. If I’ve missed the mark on your deck quote I would be happy to take another look.

Things to consider: Similar deck boards can vary by multiples in cost. Let’s choose the right deck board for your project. A 20×16′ frame is marginally different in labor and material cost as a 17×13′ frame but is 45% bigger in sqft. Wood is typically 25% less than composite across the total project cost but you will pay multiples of that savings in maintenance across the life of your deck.Other projects types are typically billed weekly for materials and time accrued.
